I opened up a CafePress store. I've had a couple ideas for bumper stickers and other little trinkets that I've wanted to make. The cost was low (free) and it's really simple. Or it would be if I wasn't completely incompetent with graphics editing. To be honest, I am terrible at it. A charitable person might describe me as untalented, if offered a suitable bribe. So my offerings will be text of whatever humor or crass comments I think up.

I have exactly one item right now: a bumper a sticker. It just says "Kansas: Intelligently Designed" on it. One of the guys at work thought it up, so I'll give him a cut of the profits, which will be zero or so. After all, it took him 5 minutes to think up and it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to make the picture for the sticker. That's right — two and a half hours. Most of that was fighting the stupid GIMP drawing program. Then MS Paint, which is more suitable for my talents. Then back to GIMP to redo it for the 6th time and finally get the sizing right. Criminy. Image manipulation on the computer is one of the few areas where my skill is exactly zero — I have none whatsoever.

Anyways, the store is Uncommon Things for Uncommon People
