Well that seems kind of odd. March was a really cold month and I was forced to run the heater most of the time. My electric bill was $125. Part of that is I really can't handle cold weather well and need the temperature up a bit. Part of that is needing to fix the seal around the front door. But I was really happy because during the month of April I didn't have the air conditioner or the heater on a single time! It was warm most of the time and during the few colder days the apartment stayed warm enough. In fact now that I'm in a summer mood, having the temperature a bit cooler in the apartment didn't bother me because I'm just more active this time of year. But my bill was still $80! I haven't gotten a printed bill yet to know how that breaks down, but maybe that's really how much it costs to run my computer and the water heater.

I'm going to get dressed and head to KC for the day. Going to stop by Jayhawk RV on the way home because Mom and Dad will be there getting their new trailer. It's too cold to go camping this weekend (we're back in the low 50's again) but I'll help them a bit putting some basic stuff in the trailer to get it ready for next weekend. They usually camp at Clinton Lake and I can actually bike there now. The whole way is up and down 3 huge and steep hills so it feels like a real accomplishment. It makes my legs scream in a great way.

It did become clear and nice out 2 hours before sunset last night. I managed to ride my bike for the first time in 2 weeks, and it was great. I was zooming along at a much faster pace the whole way and didn't feel really sore or tired at all during the ride. It felt great. I am really excited for summer to here. I'm going to ride that bike everywhere and love every minute of it.

Also, some girls hollered "That's awesome!" at me while I was speeding along Kasold. I was on the sidewalk going nearly as fast as the passing cars. It was great! Recumbent bikes are so cool. That was one of my best purchases ever.
